Here are Mia and Dean Cross, both best selling authors.

Currently, Mia writes Clean Romances, and Dean writes Future Science (Sci-Fi). They usually co-author books in all clean genres, both fiction and non-fiction.  Together, they have published 230+ books.  They've lost the exact count.  Obviously, they just love to write and edit.

There is always a happy ending to their fiction.

Dean is actually the Dean of California English School.

Dean enlisted in the USAF and rose from Airman Basic to Major. He became one of only 63 Navigators, Electronic Warfare Officers and Pilots ever.  He flew 103 combat missions then 43 more then 37 more.  On his first tour, he was decorated with the Distinguished Flying Cross and six Air Medals in actual air combat.

The latter two combat tours, he refueled the tri-sonic SR-71 in flight.  More people have been to the moon than have flown that one. Then he went to SAC Headquarters to supervise flying training.

At SAC, he brought the command out of the punch card realm.  He brought in the largest computer system ever, under budget, and a month early.  Then he tackled the massive Aircrew Scheduling system that had previously required 5 lauguages and 4 mainframes.  He solved it on his own minuscule TRS-80 PC, while doing other classified things.

Upon retirement from SAC, he was awarded the highest non-combat medal of all, the Meritorious Service Medal.

Dean can fly any aircraft with wings, such as the Piper Cub, the Boeing 707, the SR-71, and the Marine Corps F-35 -- literallly.

Dean's first book, Deubugging Java (Java is a computer language that cannot have bugs) was an instant hit, being translated into at least 13 languages, and selling thousands of copies a month.

But a fast typist, he published a Christian psychological thriller and a semi-autobiographical War novel the same month.  Thus began his writing career.
